Discover Le Tranchoir, to polish our "savoir vivre" and understand etiquette lessons we all need to learn
The deal ended
Did everyone use the right fork when they were at dinner last night? Glad to hear it. But there are still a few matters that we need to clear up.
There is never an excuse for bad manners, and today twangoo is doing its part to put an end to them with a 3hr Dining Etiquette Class. The course is entertaining, interesting, fun and includes a 3-course fine dinner (French Onion Soup, Parmesan Crusted Hake & Creme Brulee) to learn from experience. The class will cover multiple aspects: reading formal table settings, the use of silverware, mastering table manners, wine etiquette, hosting business meals, cocktail functions etiquette, etiquette tips for host and guests. Cherry on the cake, you will get a glimpse of culinary improvement with a Creme Brulee demonstration class for dessert.
Table manners play an important part in making a favourable impression. They are visible signals of the state of our manners and therefore are essential to professional success. The point of etiquette rules is to make you feel comfortable - not uncomfortable.
Founded in 1991 and located in Wanchai, Di & Cooke offers a comprehensive and comfortable environment for trainees' professional development. The workshop consists of a dining area and an open kitchen which is best for trainings such as dining etiquette and culinary improvement. The workshop will start at 7pm. You are invited to see the Creme Brulee demo and may even join to participate in a few tasks. This process will take about one hour. You will then sit at the dining table and the Etiquette Trainer will lecture on dining etiquette theory with visual aids while the dinner is being served. The session is fully interactive and you can raise any question during the meal.
