Overview

We are looking for candidates with solid sales experience in direct sales with retail merchants and major brands. Ideally, we are looking for a person with a full network of established businesses to call and visit. The person best suited for this post is likely to have worked in an online environment in a sales capacity, including possibly with credit cards, merchant promotions, events, etc.

General Responsibilities

Your mission is to negotiate special deals with local merchants on behalf of our community users.  Typically, local merchants can be: local restaurants, hotels, gyms, sporting facilities, spas, beauty salons, salons, doctors, educational centers, travel tours and any others that would be appealing to our members. To accomplish your mission, this role requires daily visits, phone calls, email follow ups to local merchants to sign them up to our website to be featured, utilizing it as both a sales/marketing platform for them to gain new customers, and build and develop long term relationship with them.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum Online Media/Direct Sales experience
• Comfortable approaching local businesses and merchants
• Self-motivated and organized
• Ability to work in a startup, extremely fast-paced working environment
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Highly motivated, independent and co-operative
• Smart and Passionate
• Immediate availability is preferred.
